Custom Home Framing

At Benchmark Carpentry we are committed to achieving a superior level of craftsmanship and service. By constantly keeping up to date with the building industries latest materials (i.e. Zip System) and products available we are able to deliver an end product of the highest quality and efficiency. From the initial sit down meeting to the last nail driven our goal is to build a one-of-a-kind home you will be truly proud to share with family and friends. We build each and every home as if it were our own and this level of pride is what we believe to be our greatest differentiator. Our main policy is and has always been to never partake in more than one project at any given time simply meaning your job is our singular focus. Combining this level of service as well as a dedicated telescopic forklift on site allows for greater efficiency and safety with increased productivity.

As is typically on most of our custom builds we also install full house wrap, install windows/doors, rough- in framing as well as the framing of the basement.

Residential Construction

A substantial portion of our overall workload comes from framing subdivision homes and although to this day most are still built conventionally on site we have experienced an increase in the amount of prefab homes we frame each year.

Over the years we have been privileged to work with some of Ontario's Finest Homes Builders. The style of these site homes range anywhere from single storey bungalows/backsplits, 2-3 storey townhomes and two storey single family homes. Start to finish these homes typically take anywhere from two to three weeks to complete. Once again as with any project we put the same care and consideration into each and everyone of these homes. Our work is our reputation.

Special Projects and Renovations

Aside from new home framing we also frame home additions, basements as well as various home renovations which has been everything from replacing bearing walls with flush (in floor) header systems, shoring up sagging rafters to building a strong and lasting backyard fence. No job is too big or too small to handle. Finally, we offer a framing recovery service whereby we take over a project, rectify prior work done incorrectly both structurally and aesthetically speaking and essentially make it right.

At Benchmark Carpentry we believe that working without a clear plan is a plan to fail. Our end goal to make the entire construction project as seamless and stress-free as possible for our clients. This is achieved by meeting beforehand and discussing topics such as clients project needs, sub trade suggestions, special considerations, interests and time lines . Our goal from start to completion is our clients overall satisfaction and happiness and by starting out on the same page this can be achieved.
